Hugh is a graduate of the Murrow College of Communication at WSU. He spent nearly three decades as a television journalist before moving to public relations. In 1994 Hugh started Vision Communications, an issue management and media relations business based in Spokane, WA. He worked as Director of News and Information at the WSU News Bureau from 1999-2001. Currently, Hugh is Manager of Media and Information at Avista Corp. in Spokane, WA
