Research Interests:
Henry conducts Interdisciplinary research (Communication, Comparative Ethnic Studies, Cultural Anthropology, and Education) under the umbrella of Memetics – the scientific study of the evolution, replication, and transmission of bits of cultural information called memes – along with the influence of mythological narratives to deconstruct the religious choices of African Americans post-slavery. Additionally, Henry researches the benefits of inculcating indigenous mythologies into the multicultural classroom.
